Kosso, born Albert Dervishaj in Heerlen, is a Dutch rapper of Albanian Kosovan descent who has built a reputation through a string of collaborations and a prolific creative partnership with fellow rapper Dorentina. The two have recorded multiple singles and albums together, racking up over 90 million Spotify streams in 2020 alone, with "Beauty and the Beast II" arriving in May 2021. He has also worked alongside some of the bigger names in Dutch rap, including Boef, Josylvio, Ali B, Hef and Murda. Kosso first appeared on the scene through 101Barz back in 2013, and has kept busy ever since. In 2021 he signed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment, a milestone that reflects just how far he has come from those early freestyle appearances. Away from music, he runs several businesses, including one in nutritional supplements.
