About
La Chapelle Sauvage is a strings and piano ensemble that brings the film music of Hans Zimmer to live audiences in an intimate concert setting. Their programme draws from some of the most recognisable scores in cinema, including Gladiator, Interstellar, The Lion King, Dune, Batman and Pirates of the Caribbean. Zimmer wrote more than 150 soundtracks and won two Oscars, and La Chapelle Sauvage distils that enormous catalogue into a single cohesive evening. The format is deliberately close and personal, setting it apart from the scale of the original orchestral recordings.
