About
Also known as: Aly Spaltro, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper
Lady Lamb began as a late night project: Aly Spaltro recorded songs through the closing shift at a video rental store, then handed out the home recordings in handmade packages to a local record shop. That DIY spirit never really left. She later moved to Brooklyn and made her debut studio album, Ripely Pine, with producer Nadim Issa, putting it out on Ba Da Bing Records in 2013. Follow up album After arrived in 2015 on Mom + Pop Music, and in 2016 she self produced the seven track EP Tender Warriors Club at Kristian Matsson's home studio in Sweden. Her third album, Even in the Tremor, came out in 2019, co produced with Erin Tonkon and back on Ba Da Bing. In 2023 she marked ten years of her first record with a self produced box set called In The Mammoth Nothing of The Night. She used to perform as Lady Lamb the Beekeeper, and the indie folk and indie rock tag fits.
