Lena Raine built her reputation on a distinctive blend of ambient textures, techno, and 8 bit sounds, a style that caught the attention of developer Maddy Thorson and landed her the job scoring Celeste in 2018. That soundtrack became one of the most talked about in indie gaming. She had already spent six years composing for Guild Wars 2 at ArenaNet, co writing the music for the Heart of Thorns expansion alongside Maclaine Diemer. Since going independent, her output has been relentless. She added tracks to Minecraft across multiple updates from 2020 to 2024, worked on Deltarune and Chicory: A Colorful Tale, and released her debut album Oneknowing in 2019. She is also the composer for Beastieball and is developing her own shoot em up RPG called Anothereal through her solo studio Radical Dreamland.
