Under the name Les Gordon, French electronic musician Marc Mifune has built a sound that sits somewhere between the dreamy electronic pop of artists like Four Tet and Gold Panda, which is actually part of the inspiration behind the name itself: "Les" is a nod to that British indie electronic scene. Before settling on Les Gordon, he was making computer assisted music under the alias Morning Crash, and the current name references Scottish video artist Douglas Gordon. His catalogue spans several releases including Saisons, Les cheveux longs, Atlas, and the 2018 album La, which featured the track Flirting With June, used in Apple's September Event 2019 intro. He has opened for major acts including Stromae and Madeon, and runs a side project called Singapour alongside lyricist Roman Oswald. He also records as part of the duo Mondrian with Oswald and Leska with Douchka.
