About
Formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2010 by vocalist Chris Roetter, a veteran of Emarosa and Agraceful, Like Moths to Flames have spent over a decade carving out a serious reputation in the metalcore scene. Signed to Rise Records almost immediately after forming, they hit the ground running with a debut EP and relentless touring alongside acts like Texas in July and D.R.U.G.S. Their second album, An Eye for an Eye, recorded with producer Will Putney, cracked the Billboard 200 and landed them a slot on the Vans Warped Tour. Through a revolving lineup, Roetter has remained the constant, steering the band through half a dozen studio albums and several EPs. They left Rise Records in 2019 after nearly a decade, signing with UNFD and dropping the EP Where the Light Refuses to Go. Their 2020 album No Eternity in Gold kept the momentum going, and recent tracks like Bury Your Pain and Nowhere Left to Sink show a band still pushing hard within their metalcore lane.
