About
Also known as: Sonja Melanie Rauschenbach
Lilly Palmer, the alias of Sonja Melanie Rauschenbach, built her name in Zurich's club scene before pushing her sound into relentlessly high tempo techno, often hitting 150 BPM. Mixmag called her one of the most exciting names in techno, and DJ Mag labelled her a star, while EDM.com named her one of the best producers of 2023. That same year she pulled off one of her most distinctive performances: a live set recorded inside a satellite testing chamber at the European Space Agency, weaving in samples from the ESA sound archive. Her BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 2022 ran for two and a half hours and helped cement her reputation beyond the dancefloor. In 2024 she signed to both Armada Music and Kontor Records, with "Hare Ram" kicking off that chapter. She has since collaborated with Maddix and Armin van Buuren, and in 2025 ranked 57th in the DJ Mag Top 100.
