About
Also known as: Loyiso Mandlovaandile Gijana
Lloyiso got his big break on Idols SA in 2015, and the Uitenhage singer has been building a career in afro soul and afropop ever since. After leaving the show he signed with Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2018, where he put out songs like "Nontsikelelo" and "Intlizyo", the latter featuring Langa Mavuso. The next big move came in 2021, when he signed with Universal Music Group South Africa and Republic Records. That led to the 2023 EP Seasons, produced entirely by Earwulf, Mr. Hudson and Stargate. It picked up three nominations at the South African Music Awards and walked away with Best Pop Album. He has since announced a follow up EP called Never Thought I Could, so there is clearly more on the way from him.
