About
Born Boele Steensma, Luke Prince is an Amsterdam based pop artist whose songs sit at the crossroads of introspective storytelling and bright, uplifting production. His lyrics dig into the experience of coming of age, translating personal emotions into a dynamic pop sound with melodies that tend to stick around long after the song ends. What sets him apart is the breadth of what he does himself. Luke writes, produces, and performs his own material, and also handles his own video editing. He plays piano and guitar, both self taught, which gives him a hands on relationship with his music at every stage. He has built up a solid live track record performing across the Netherlands, and has been accepted to The New School in New York City to develop his craft further.
