About
Luke Dean, who records as Madvilla, built his sound around the spirit of 90s Chicago house, filtering that classic energy through a sharp, contemporary lens. His influences read like a house music hall of fame: Derrick Carter, Cajmere, Marshall Jefferson. He has put out music on labels including Constant Sound, neXup, Belief, MicroHertz and Locus London, and his tracks have landed him slots at Fabric London, DC10 and The Warehouse Project, as well as Ibiza bookings with Do Not Sleep, Solid Grooves and Paradise. The track that really opened doors was "Get Hard (You In The Lobby)", which went viral in 2023 and pushed his bookings to another level. His single "Can't Decide", made with Max Dean and Locky, has racked up over 68 million streams on Spotify and took home Best Track at the DJ Mag Best of British Awards 2025. He has kept the output coming thick and fast, with a string of EPs and collaborations showing no signs of slowing down.
