About
Conductor Jules van Hessen has built a reputation for bringing classical music to life with serious flair. Under the name Maestro Jules, he leads his own orchestra through full classical works, presenting them in a way that feels fresh whether you know the piece inside out or are hearing it for the very first time. His style is flamboyant and engaging, turning each performance into something closer to a guided journey than a formal concert. His programme has included Saint Saëns' Carnival of the Animals, tackled with the kind of wit and wonder the piece demands.
