Signed to Epitaph Records after being scouted at their very first tour stop, Orlando's Magnolia Park have built a devoted following through relentless gigging and a knack for blending pop punk hooks with alternative rock grit. Their 2022 debut album Baku's Revenge hit 15 million streams and earned strong reviews, with Kerrang! giving it four out of five stars and praising the band's unflinching honesty. The record pairs catchy hooks with lyrics that dig into social and personal issues, switching between clean singing and raw, strained yells. They followed Baku's Revenge with a pair of contrasting EPs, MoonEater and SoulEater, released together in 2023. MoonEater leans into metalcore territory with crushing breakdowns, while SoulEater pulls things toward bright, synth washed alt pop that nods to the 2000s bands who shaped them. Along the way they have shared stages with Mayday Parade, Sum 41, Simple Plan and A Day to Remember, and appeared at Reading and Leeds and When We Were Young. More recently, tracks like CULT and Chasing Shadows suggest the band keeps pushing their sound forward.
