About
Paris based Serbian French cellist Maja Bogdanović has made a name for herself on the international competition circuit, taking first prize at the Aldo Parisot Cello Competition and holding her own at the prestigious Gaspar Cassado International Competition. Her American debut came in 2017, and she has since performed at some serious venues, including the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts jubilee in 2021, where she played Ivan Jevtic's Cello Symphony. That appearance alone says a lot about her standing in the Serbian classical music world. She splits her time between the French capital and the international stage, bringing a repertoire that bridges Serbian and broader European classical traditions.
