About
Perth's Make Them Suffer have spent well over a decade shape shifting through some of heavy music's most demanding corners, from the blackened, symphonic crush of their 2012 debut Neverbloom to the progressive metalcore of later records. Their sound keeps moving: by the time How to Survive a Funeral landed in 2020, the deathcore roots had made room for cleaner melodic textures, and their knack for contrast between brutality and melody became their calling card. The band has seen plenty of lineup changes along the way, including the arrival of keyboardist Alex Reade from Drown This City in 2022. After signing to SharpTone Records in 2023, they released the single Ghost of Me and eventually dropped their self titled fifth studio album in late 2024, pulling together a run of singles including Doomswitch and Epitaph.
