About
With formal training across three music disciplines, piano and keys, vocals, and choral conducting, Marieke Duin has spent close to thirty years working across a remarkably wide range of musical settings. She plays and sings in bands, accompanies vocalists and vocal groups on piano, and takes on musical direction roles. Her live experience stretches from theatre stages to solo performances at restaurants, weddings and corporate events, and she has collaborated with well known Dutch artists, bands and choirs along the way. Beyond performing, Duin coaches pianists, keyboardists and vocalists, composes music for companies, and runs singing workshops. No two performances are quite the same, which seems to suit her just fine.
