About
Clarinetist Marieke Vos and pianist Camiel Boomsma have been performing together as a chamber music duo since 2019, and their partnership has built a reputation for thoughtful programming and finely tuned ensemble playing. Their debut recording, Sliding Doors, released in 2022, drew international praise, with Dutch publication Klassieke Zaken describing it as a gem worthy of full attention. Their repertoire leans into the lyrical side of classical music, placing the clarinet in a singing, expressive role. A typical programme might draw on Finzi's Clarinet Concerto, Mendelssohn's Lieder ohne Worte and Schumann's Fantasiestücke, works that share a vocal quality even without an actual voice present.
