Dutch trance and house producer Mark Sixma has built a career on big, orchestral club tracks that somehow manage to feel both anthemic and precise. His single "Requiem" topped the Beatport trance chart and was the most played trance track of 2013, and his remix of "Adagio for Strings" pulled support from names like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, and Cosmic Gate. Early on, two of his tracks earned "Tune of the Week" on A State of Trance, which led to signing with Armada Music, and Armin van Buuren kept selecting his work for the annual A State of Trance compilation for three consecutive years. Sixma has racked up collaborations with some of the biggest names in the genre, including "Panta Rhei" with Armin van Buuren and "Chased" with Andrew Rayel, both among his most recognisable releases. He has toured the world as part of the A State of Trance Festival and played Ultra Music Festival, sharing stages with Ferry Corsten and others. His alias M6 gives him room to explore a slightly different sound alongside his main output.
