Straight out of Jamaica, Mark Wonder has spent years building a reputation in the international roots reggae scene. His voice is the kind that commands attention, and he backs it up with lyrics rooted in conscious, spiritually aware themes. He draws inspiration from reggae heavyweights Dennis Brown and Burning Spear, but also from soul legend Sam Cooke, and that mix of influences gives his sound a distinctive warmth and depth. Over the course of his career he has released albums including Signs of the Times, Jeremiah and Break the Ice, and has collaborated with artists such as Sizzla and Gentleman. On stage he brings a raw, genuine energy that suits the music perfectly, turning every performance into something that feels less like a show and more like a proper roots reggae experience.
