Marmozets are a math rock and post hardcore band from Bingley, West Yorkshire, built around two pairs of siblings: the Bottomleys and the MacIntyres. Their debut album The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets landed in 2014 and picked up the Kerrang! Award for Best Album the following year, cementing their reputation for chaotic, high energy shows that had already earned them slots at Glastonbury, Download, and Reading and Leeds. Singles like "Move Shake Hide" and "Why Do You Hate Me?" drew serious attention from BBC Radio 1, and supporting Muse on their 2015 UK tour pushed them to much bigger audiences. After their second album Knowing What You Know Now came out in 2018, the band went quiet for several years. They resurfaced in 2024 with a new deal on Nettwerk Music Group, and their third album Co.War.Dice followed in May 2026, preceded by singles including "A Kiss from a Mother" and "You Want the Truth". The band describes their sound as sitting somewhere between angular post hardcore and sheer noise, with influences ranging from the Dillinger Escape Plan and the Fall of Troy all the way to, yes, S Club 7.
