About
Martijn Moree is a singer songwriter who performs intimate, acoustic shows built around the connection between songs and the stories behind them. He plays piano and sings, and his sets blend his own original work with carefully chosen covers, sometimes weaving in poems he has written himself. The experience is deliberately personal, somewhere between a living room gathering and a campfire concert, designed to invite genuine listening rather than passive background entertainment. He regularly performs alongside guitarist Eric Brugmans, known from Miss Montreal, who adds guitar, bass and percussion to the mix. The mood Moree goes for sits at the crossroads of emotion and warmth, the kind of music that can draw a tear and then coax a laugh in the same breath.
