About
South African DJ and producer Mas Musiq built his name on a run of Amapiano singles that hit hard on the Official South African Charts. "Sengizwile" went all the way to number one, while "Uzozisola" earned a double platinum certification from RiSA and helped push his 2021 album Aut' eSharp into serious commercial territory. Those three charting singles, "Sengizwile", "Uzozisola", and "Inhliziyo", all fed into that record and showed a real knack for crafting tracks that stick. Since then he has kept the momentum going. His fourth studio album Nini Nanini dropped in April 2023, went Gold with RiSA, and was backed by the single "Gangnam Style". A fifth album, Lane Yam, followed in 2024, rounding out a discography that has grown quickly and consistently since his debut Mambisa in 2019.
