About

Also known as: Michael Koglin, Mike Coglin, Mike Koghlin

Mike Koglin is a German DJ and producer best known for "The Silence", his 1998 rework of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence", which climbed to number 20 on the UK Singles Chart. That same year, his production for Boy George, "When Will You Learn", earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, which says a lot about how quickly he established himself at the top end of the scene. Over the years he has collaborated with Darren Tate, Kirsty Hawkshaw and Above and Beyond, and put his remix stamp on tracks by Dido, George Michael, Paul Oakenfold, Armin van Buuren and plenty more. Koglin runs two labels, Noys Music since 2004 and Yomo Records, launched in 2016 for progressive house and techno, and has released music on Anjunabeats, Armada and Perfecto among others. He hosts the monthly radio show Every Direction on DI.fm, and alongside his DJ career he develops and teaches online production courses at Point Blank Music School. Based in Berlin since 2012, he keeps busy on multiple fronts.
