About
Mojohand is a four piece blues band that mixes its own songs with reworked blues classics, and the set moves through plenty of styles. One minute it's funky, the next a driving boogie, then a swinging shuffle, then something quiet and stripped back. The sound is fuller than you'd expect from four people, with organ, piano, harmonica, guitar, drums and bass all in the mix, and two members sharing the vocals. The lineup is Frank Reemers on vocals and guitar, Joep de Greef on vocals, keys and blues harp, Jules van Bussel on bass and Coen Swinkels on drums. They reached the final of the Dutch Blues Challenge in 2024 and have played a long list of blues festivals and big stages, including Bospop, Culemborg Blues, Delft Blues, Bock & Blues in Almelo, Bluesplein Eindhoven and Swing Wespelaar in Belgium.
