About
Molokai is a five piece heavy rock band that grew out of a long songwriting partnership. Marc (vocals and guitar) and Niels (guitar and vocals) started writing together back in 2017, keeping the songs to themselves for years. Around 2023 they decided to share the music more widely and brought in Manon on vocals, Damian on drums and Sjoerd on bass. The sound is modern heavy rock built on crunching riffs and big, layered choruses. They began releasing singles with Easy to Hide and Emilia, and their debut EP is called Voices in the Dark.
