Moscow Death Brigade started out as a DIY collective rooted in progressive social movements and the graffiti underground, and over roughly fifteen years grew into a band that tours internationally. Their sound is a deliberately aggressive collision of electronic music, hardcore punk and rap, wrapped up in street and graffiti culture and carrying an outspoken message against war, racism and discrimination. On stage, three figures in tracksuits and balaclavas are joined by an anthropomorphic crocodile in a matching outfit, making their live shows as visually striking as they are loud. The band has released four studio albums and one acoustic EP. Their album Radio Hope features ten tracks, nine of which were recorded with guest artists from across the globe, including Jen Pop of The Bombpops, Hoya Roc of Madball, Los Fastidios, Joshi of ZSK and Rob of Born From Pain. Beyond their own records, they are known for organising benefit actions that raise money and awareness for progressive causes worldwide.
