About
Mozes Rosenberg sits at the very top of the gypsy jazz guitar world, and the Mozes Rosenberg Trio is the format he favours most for performing. The group features Matheus Nicolaiewsky on double bass and rotating rhythm guitar players, with Nou'sche Rosenberg and Martin Limberger among those taking that role. Mozes draws on a broad musical palette that stretches across gypsy jazz, bossa nova and pop, making the trio's shows a mix of precision and swing rather than pure genre exercise. The combination of his solo guitar work with a nimble rhythm section gives their performances a lively, celebratory feel that goes well beyond straight jazz.
