Before she was Muni Long, Priscilla Renea spent the better part of a decade as one of pop's most in demand behind the scenes writers, putting her name on Rihanna's "California King Bed", Fifth Harmony's "Worth It", Ariana Grande's "Imagine", and Pitbull's global smash "Timber". She had actually released a debut album under her real name back in 2009, Jukebox, which critics liked but almost no one bought. It took another stage name and a slow burning 2021 single to change everything. That single, "Hrs and Hrs", crept up the Billboard Hot 100 into the top 20 and eventually won Best R&B Performance at the Grammy Awards, landing her a deal with Def Jam in the process. The album it anchored, Public Displays of Affection: The Album, made the Billboard 200. She kept the momentum going with "Made for Me" in 2023, and her fourth album Revenge followed in 2024, earning a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album. Recent uploads suggest she has been active, with tracks like "Make Me Forget" and "Superpowers" surfacing in 2024.
