About
Murat Boz has a knack for landing number ones. The Turkish pop singer and songwriter broke through with his debut album Maximum in 2007, a record that featured collaborators including Tarkan and shot multiple singles into the top five of the Billboard Turkey chart. His follow up albums Şans and Aşklarım Büyük Benden kept that momentum going, and tracks like Geri Dönüş Olsa, Kalamam Arkadaş and Janti all hit the top spot on the Türkçe Top 20. Beyond the music, Boz plays violin, drum and ney, has picked up four Golden Butterfly Awards and two Kral Music Awards, and served as a judge on O Ses Türkiye, the Turkish version of The Voice, winning its first season. He has also taken on acting roles in several Turkish films. More recently he has been putting out new clips, with Gözdeki Maviye and Aşkın Darağacı arriving in 2023.
