About
Murat Dalkılıç hit the ground running with his debut single 'Kasaba' in 2008, a track that climbed to number one on the Türkçe Top 20 and held the top spot for seven weeks straight. That kind of opening move tends to set the tone, and it did: he went on to sign with Sony Music Entertainment in 2009 and has since released five studio albums, with 'Afeta' arriving in 2019. His second and third albums kept delivering chart toppers, including 'Kader', 'Bi Hayli', 'Lüzumsuz Savaş', and 'Derine'. Beyond performing, he writes and produces for other artists too, contributing lyrics and compositions to tracks by the likes of Emrah Karaduman and Zeynep Bastık. He also runs his own international film and music production company, and has directed both a feature film and a short film.
