About
Neck Deep kicked things off in Wrexham, Wales, when vocalist Ben Barlow and guitarist Lloyd Roberts posted a single song online in 2012 and watched it blow up almost immediately. That early momentum landed them on Hopeless Records, and their debut album Wishful Thinking turned the band into a full time operation fast enough that the members quit their jobs and dropped out of university to keep up. Their pop punk sound sits somewhere between anthemic and rowdy, with hooks sharp enough to carry them from UK club tours to opening for Blink 182 on a summer run. The real breakthrough came with their third album, The Peace and the Panic, which debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200, a genuinely rare achievement for a band in this genre. They followed that with All Distortions Are Intentional in 2020 and a self titled fifth record in January 2024, showing no sign of slowing down. Seb Barlow, Ben's brother and longtime collaborator behind the boards, eventually joined officially as bassist, making the whole thing feel like a proper family operation.
