About
NEMS has built her reputation as a DJ who creates spaces where women feel free to be themselves, a philosophy she sums up with the phrase 'your girls fave DJ'. Her sets pull from a wide range of sounds, blending dancehall, amapiano, afrohouse, afrobeats and female focused hip hop into something distinctly her own. She has taken that sound across a serious stretch of the globe, touring Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Caribbean. Festival stages have included Tomorrowland, Lowlands, Mysteryland, Pinkpop and Amsterdam Open Air, a run that puts her in some pretty sizeable company.
