About
New Hope Club are a British pop trio from Northern England, made up of Reece Bibby, Blake Richardson, and George Smith. They got their start in 2015 when The Vamps signed them to Steady Records after hearing their cover of the band's own song "Wake Up". Their debut EP Welcome to the Club came out in 2017 on Hollywood Records, and they spent ten weeks on the Billboard Next Big Sound chart. Their self titled debut album followed in February 2020, peaking at number five on the UK Album Charts. The trio built a solid live reputation opening for The Vamps across multiple UK, European, and Australian tours, as well as touring with Sabrina Carpenter in North America. Blake Richardson has also branched out into acting, playing Paul McCartney in Midas Man, a feature film about Beatles manager Brian Epstein. In February 2025, the band announced they are going on hiatus.
