About
Klyne is the electro R&B duo of vocalist Nick Klyne and producer Ferdous Dehzad, both raised in the south of the Netherlands with Indonesian and Afghan roots respectively. Their 2015 debut single Paralyzed went viral almost overnight, pulling in attention from music blogs, tastemakers and record labels around the world at a time when the blog era was already fading out. That momentum helped them build a serious cult following online before most acts had figured out how. In 2017 they released their debut album through Because Music in the UK, anchored by Water Flow, which went on to rack up over 125 million streams and became their second viral moment. Along the way they made remixes for Disclosure and Sam Smith, and shared stages with Christine and the Queens, Metronomy and Years and Years. After a period working on solo projects, Nick put out two solo singles in 2020, Rain on Your Parade and How Do You Feel, while the duo is now gearing up to continue their work together with Because Music.
