About
Nines built his name through a run of gritty mixtapes that caught fire online, with "Can't Blame Me" and "Money on My Mind" racking up millions of YouTube views before he had a major label deal. Signing to XL Recordings in late 2016, he dropped his debut album One Foot Out the following February with barely a day's notice, and it still landed at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart, putting him in rare company alongside Skepta and Giggs. He went one better with Crabs in a Bucket in 2020, hitting number one, and then returned in 2023 with both Crop Circle 2 and Crop Circle 3, each accompanied by a short film he wrote and directed himself. His sixth and final studio album, Quit While You're Ahead, arrived in 2024, and he closed out his headline career with a show at the O2 Arena.
