About
nothhingspecial is a German alternative singer songwriter from Bonn who writes from the gut and then asks hard questions about the world around her. Her music is built on emotion and deliberate intent, with a strong thread of fair, outspoken feminism and plain, stubborn self belief running through it. That all comes together on the album Back to my Dreams. It swings from heavy, shoegaze flavoured ballads like Pretender and Subtle Silver Silhouette to quieter, more introspective songs that give her voice room to stretch across its full range.
