About
Also known as: Emanuele Frasca
Noyz Narcos, born Emanuele Frasca in Rome, is one of the sharpest voices in Italian rap and a core member of the hip hop collective TruceKlan. His sound is built around dark atmospheres, aggressive beats and lyrics that dig into urban decay, existential malaise and street reality without flinching. His 2013 album Monster, released through Propaganda Agency and distributed by Sony Music, pulled together an impressive roster of Italian rap heavyweights including Marracash, Chicoria, Metal Carter and Tormento, and debuted at number seven on the Italian album chart. Before Monster, his 2010 album Guilty cemented his reputation on the Italian scene with features from Club Dogo, Marracash and Fabri Fibra. He has also collaborated beyond the usual rap circles, appearing alongside punk and noise acts on the Ministero dell'inferno compilation, which deliberately set out to break the mould of Italian rap releases. Tracks like Attica and Via con Me show his range, and his appetite for collaboration keeps his catalogue varied and unpredictable.
