NxWorries is what you get when Anderson.Paak and producer Knxwledge join forces, and the result sounds like nothing else in hip hop. The duo, signed to Stones Throw Records, built a cult following with their 2016 debut Yes Lawd!, a warmly hazy blend of soul, boom bap and Paak's unmistakable voice. Their first song together, "Suede", sampled Gil Scott Heron and racked up over a million SoundCloud plays before the project even had a name. After years of quiet, NxWorries came back swinging with Why Lawd? in 2024. The lead up included "Where I Go" with H.E.R., the smooth "Daydreaming", and "86Sentra", plus recent tracks featuring Earl Sweatshirt, Rae Khalil and Snoop Dogg. It is a proper return, not just a one off, and it shows the two still have serious chemistry.
