About
oGiNa is a five piece band from Oog in Al, a neighbourhood in Utrecht, and the name nods to where it all started. The lineup is vocals, guitar, bass, keys and drums, and every member comes with years of band experience behind them. Arne fronts the band and moves between high and low registers. Corné handles guitar and cares as much about sound as craft. Leo plays keys, covering everything from a Bechstein piano to a Moog synth. Ufuk is the drummer, comfortable with a shuffle and a shake, and just as happy playing rock or rave. Frits plays bass and loves the deep end of the range. Most of them grew up elsewhere, in the south, in Brabant or Amsterdam, but they all ended up in or near Oog in Al, and they still treat it as home turf.
