About
Also known as: O.K. Go, okgo
OK Go built their reputation on music videos so inventive they became events in themselves. The Chicago formed, Los Angeles based alt rock four piece pulled off a Grammy win for Best Music Video with 'Here It Goes Again', the one where they dance on treadmills, and kept raising the bar from there. 'A Million Ways' racked up over nine million downloads and became the most downloaded music video of its time, while later clips like 'This Too Shall Pass' with its massive Rube Goldberg machine and the single take optical illusion of 'The One Moment' cemented their status as genuine visual artists. Musically they sit in the alternative and indie rock space, fronted by Damian Kulash with Tim Nordwind on bass, Dan Konopka on drums, and Andy Ross on guitar and keys. Their self titled debut reached number one on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, and the band has put out five studio albums in total. The visuals and the songs are equally crafted, which is a rarer combo than it sounds.
