Quebec audiences got their first real taste of Olivier Dion on Star Académie, the French Canadian reality singing competition. He didn't take the crown, but his song "Pour exister" hit double platinum and became a staple on Quebec radio, and the tour that followed drew over 130,000 spectators. That kind of momentum was hard to ignore. From there, Dion moved fluidly between pop music and the stage, playing Link Larkin in Hairspray and later landing the role of d'Artagnan in a major French musical production of The Three Musketeers at the Palais des Sports in Paris. He also competed on Danse avec les stars, finishing third, and teamed up with Swedish pop star Zara Larsson on the single "Only You" in 2017. His solo catalogue spans several albums, from his self titled debut through to Sur le fil in 2023.
