About
Opshop are a New Zealand rock band with a knack for landing at the top. Their third album, Until The End of Time, debuted at number one on the New Zealand Album Charts in 2010, and their song "One Day" took home the APRA Silver Scroll for Song of the Year in 2008, one of the most prestigious music honours in the country. Over the course of three albums, starting with You Are Here in 2004 and continuing through Second Hand Planet in 2007, they built a solid reputation as one of NZ rock's dependable acts. Front man Jason Kerrison has kept things interesting off the stage too. He won the first season of The Masked Singer NZ performing as a tuatara, and in a wonderfully unhinged move, he built an actual bunker in 2011 after John Cusack convinced him the apocalypse was coming.
