About
Also known as: Owen Michael Riegling
Owen Riegling went from winning a festival showcase contest to opening for Tyler Hubbard, Robyn Ottolini and Chase Rice in about two years. The Bruce County, Ontario country singer and songwriter won the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase in 2022, then signed with Universal Music Canada in 2023. "Old Dirt Roads" became his second radio single and a real calling card. In 2024 he took home Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Awards, and he put out his debut album Bruce County (From the Beginning) that November. Since then he has added a U.S. deal with Big Loud Records, alongside Universal Music Canada, and released "Taillight This Town". His second album, In the Feeling, landed in April 2026 with "Love Hate Love" as a single. He started out covering Eric Church songs at local venues, and you can still hear that storytelling streak in his writing.
