About
Also known as: Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado
With five albums topping the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and a YouTube record that once made him the artist with the most billion view videos on the platform, Ozuna is one of the biggest names reggaeton and Latin trap have ever produced. The Puerto Rican singer built his following the hard way, playing over 300 shows in Puerto Rico before signing with Sony Music Latin in 2017, which funded his debut album Odisea. His second album, Aura, cracked the top ten of the US Billboard 200, a rare feat for a Latin urban act. His sound pulls from a wide pool: reggaeton at the core, but also bachata, R&B, dembow, and pop threads woven throughout. That versatility shows in his collaborations, from Daddy Yankee and Anuel AA early on, to the quadruple platinum RIAA certified "Taki Taki" with DJ Snake, Cardi B, and Selena Gomez. He has also stepped in front of the camera, appearing in the Fast and Furious film F9, and performed "Arhbo" at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
