Pa Sheehy spent years fronting Walking on Cars, the Irish band that built a solid following in Ireland and across Europe. When the band split in 2020, he stepped out on his own and hit the ground running: his debut single "Saw You at a Funeral" dropped in June 2021, followed quickly by "Róisín" that August. His debut EP, The Art of Disappearing, arrived in September 2021 and landed at number 9 on the Irish Albums Chart in its first week. The Dingle native then took his time with a full debut album, Maybe It Was All For This, releasing it in October 2024, showing he was in no rush to trade depth for speed.
