Half of the Buenos Aires duo Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Paco Amoroso has built a reputation for genre chaos done right. The pair blend Bulgarian folk, trance, samba, bruxaria atmospheres and nueva ola into something that critics have called both head spinning and focused, a combination that is harder to pull off than it sounds. After winning five Latin Grammys in 2025, they performed at Coachella, opened for Kendrick Lamar on his Latin American dates, and turned up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, all off the back of their EP and live album Papota. Their second studio album Free Spirits arrived in March 2026, and the road to it was anything but smooth. A planned album called Top of the Hills got shelved after the duo described suffering a swift and sudden breakdown from exhaustion. The reboot came via a social media video featuring Sting, whose fictional wellness center lent the new record its name. The album pulls in guest spots from Anderson.Paak, Jack Black and Fred Again, and a world tour running through late 2026 keeps them firmly in motion.
