About
Parmish Verma wears a lot of hats in the Punjabi entertainment world. Before anyone knew him as a singer or actor, he was the guy behind the camera, directing music videos for artists like Sharry Mann, Ninja, and Mankirat Aulakh. That eye for visual storytelling carried straight into his acting debut with the 2017 Punjabi film Rocky Mental, and he doubled down on that creative control with Dil Diyan Gallan in 2019, a film he both wrote and directed. His music sits at the crossroads of Punjabi pop, hip hop, and bhangra, and his output spans both sides of the camera with equal confidence. He has kept busy on screen too, with films like Singham and Jinde Meriye adding to his acting credits. Getting shot by a Punjab gangster in 2018 and bouncing back without missing much of a beat says something about the guy as well.
