About

Also known as: Pasha Parfeny, Pavel Parfeni

Pasha Parfeni is a Moldovan singer and songwriter from Orhei who has made Eurovision a recurring chapter in his career, representing Moldova three times. His 2012 entry "Lăutar", which he wrote himself, landed him 11th place in the grand final. Before going solo, he was the lead vocalist of SunStroke Project, the band he left in 2009 after writing their national selection entry "No Crime". His connection to Eurovision runs deeper than his own performances too: he co wrote and performed piano on stage for Aliona Moon's 2013 entry "A Thousand", one of his former backup singers. His 2023 comeback with "Soarele și luna" won the Moldovan national final on both jury and public vote, sending him to Liverpool where he finished 18th with 96 points. Outside Eurovision, he has racked up wins at festivals including the George Grigoriu International Pop Music Festival and the Mamaia Contest in Romania. More recently he has been putting out new music, with videos for "VECINII" and a 2026 release "Ușor cobor la vale" showing he is still very much active.
