About
Paul Harrington is the Irish singer who, alongside Charlie McGettigan, won Eurovision for Ireland in 1994 with a third win in a row for the country, a record that still turns heads. Before that, his debut album What I'd Say cracked the Top 10 in 1991. He's built a long career around live work. In the late 1990s he was the go to performer in Dublin's VIP circuit, playing for the likes of the Rolling Stones, Prince and U2. That caught the eye of Michael Flatley, who wrote him in as a principal singer for Celtic Tiger Live, taking him to Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden. His 2008 collection A Collection hit number 4 in Ireland after a Late Late Show slot, he recorded Molly Malone with his brothers as the Leinster rugby anthem, and in 2018 he put out the live album Lights of Home. He also does radio, presents TV, and even picked up a five star chef rating on The Restaurant.
