About
Pene Corrida is a Dutch group with a simple but irresistible concept: take well known pop hits from the past few decades and play them as a full on metal band. The result is a party heavy live show built on recognition, where the crowd connects with familiar songs delivered in an entirely unexpected way. Their debut album 'Volume Juan' laid the foundation for this approach, and over roughly fifteen years they have built a catalogue of metal ised covers that includes tracks like 'Let It Go', 'Captain Jack', 'Vamos a la Playa' and 'Freestyler'. Live, the band leans hard into the fun side of things. Humour and high energy are central to what they do, and their shows tend to feel more like a celebration than a straightforward concert.
