About
Also known as: Paweł Jan Kapliński
Polish rapper Pezet, born Paweł Jan Kapliński, has been a consistent presence in the Polish hip hop scene since the late 1990s. He broke through as part of Płomień 81 alongside Onar, dropping three albums with the group before teaming up with producer Noon in 2002 for two more records. His first solo album followed in 2007, cementing his reputation as a solo act with real staying power. Beyond the music, Pezet hosted the hip hop programme Rap Fura on Viva and even picked up an acting credit in the TVN crime drama Kryminalni. His brother, known as Małolat, is also a rapper, so the family keeps it firmly in the genre.
